About Me
- Name: Isaac
- Location: North Palm Beach, Florida, United States
I am an 87 year old gay X-Amish artist recently moved to South Florida from the Pine Needle Retirement Home in Lancaster, PA. In my journal I detail my daily existence here, in South Florida. I write about Art, my art, art criticism, art theory, LGBT issues, ageism, philosophy, and politics. I also channel Stephen Gulliver a 28 year old gay man from an alternate reality in which a neo-conservative government threatens the lives of lesbian and gay people.

To Isaac's Family - I am sorry for the pain and suffering this has caused all of you. I truely enjoyed his writing. He will be missed.
Adam, I had been away for a while doing other work. I am so sorry it took me this long to read of the situation. ~~SSJ~~

Condolences to Isaac's family - I've been referring to him in many talks I give on blogging as an example of how anybody from any age or any background can use blogging to reach out.
it seems this story has never really come to an end...so mr. john bittinger klomp why don't you post to this site and let persons know what happened to issac- who sounds like now may never have really existed as a person but was somehow one of your blog art projects?
does anyone know if a real isaac stolzfuts ever existed?
I am a stranger, newly arrived to
this journal. A blog I frequent
happened to have a photo of the
"Oh Charlie . . . ." sculpture; and
as I usually do, I did a separate
search. Your grandfather's post
about it was one of the Google
returns. I clicked the link, and
when I saw it was a 12-20-06 post
and that he was 87, I decided to
see if his journal was still active.
I am 67, and for 24+ years lived in
Gainesville, FL. During part of
that time, my parents lived in
Colony Cove near Ellenton, FL.
Read your grandfather's poem.
It is truthful and wise.
Also viewed his painting.
Thank you for sharing them.
Whatever his fate--and I know it
cannot be known without evidence,
his character was strong.
If you can keep his journal up,
at least for a year or so;
or find someplace willing
to archive it,
that would be good;
but do as seems best to you.
Meanwhile,
I am going to let certain others
know of its existence.
Blessings on all,
Brian A. J. Salchert

Just popping by to let you know I'm still thinking of you all. Is there any news?
It's now mid August 2008. Just letting you know that I have been thinking about Isaac - and all of your family over the past few days.
I have been thinking of you all. Was there ever any news about your Grandfather?
Adam, it's Isaac's birthday today, I wanted to let you know that I still think of him from time to time. I hope that you're not still without answers. Did you ever find out what happened?
