We Kill 22 Iraqi Civilians in Missile Strike

Angry neighbors claim that among the dead were five children and three women. The deaths were caused by two of our military missiles fired into a residential neighborhood. The second missile killed some of those trying to rescue those injured by the first.*

It is thought that over 10,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed to date in this war.

Rah, rah, America!

(I wonder if I shouldn’t always report such information in the first person, plural since that gives a true sense of the joint responsibility of all Americans of any persuasion whatsoever, myself included, for the Bush/Cheney “preemptive” war in Iraq.?)
